Frequently Asked Questions
Appointments & Scheduling
Do I need a doctor’s referral to start physical therapy?
In most cases, no referral is required. Washington State allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can schedule an appointment without seeing your doctor first. However, some insurance plans may still require one — we’ll help verify this for you.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can call us, email us, or request an appointment through our website’s contact form. We’ll find a time that fits your schedule and guide you through any insurance or paperwork questions.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring your photo ID, insurance card, any doctor’s referral (if applicable), imaging or test results, and wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.
Insurance & Payment
Which insurance plans do you accept?
We work with most major insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. Before your first visit, we’ll verify your benefits and explain your coverage clearly.
Do you offer self-pay or cash options?
Yes. We offer affordable self-pay rates and wellness visit packages for those without insurance or who prefer to pay directly.
Will I know my out-of-pocket costs before starting?
Absolutely. We believe in transparent communication. Our staff will review your estimated copays, coinsurance, or deductible before you begin treatment.
Treatment & Recovery
What should I expect during my first session?
Your first visit includes a thorough evaluation by your physical therapist. We’ll discuss your symptoms, goals, and activity level, then create a personalized treatment plan designed to help you move comfortably and confidently again.
How long will each session last?
Most appointments last between 45–60 minutes, depending on your treatment needs.
How many visits will I need?
It varies for each patient. Your therapist will design a plan based on your condition, goals, and progress — and we’ll regularly review your improvements together.
